I would like it that if I click to type onto a static image that has type on it, that photoshop will search my font library to find a font similar to the one i'm clicking upon in the image.

In other words, if the image I'm going to edit has text on it and I click on the text with my type tool, Photoshop will recognize that part of the image as text and will search my font library to try to find a similar font AND/OR/IF it finds the font it will also size the font to be the right size to match what's there. If it can't find the font, it will just match the size with a similar font.

For the Photoshop team to invest the resources the implementation of this feature would probably require would seem wasteful and the benefit small to me.
