Lightroom Classic: My pictures are terrible on windows 10. Can anyone explain?

why is my pictures so grainy .I am a proffesional tog and i was using lightroom 5 on windows 7 with fantastic results now im on windows 10 and have subscribed to lightroom my pictures are terrible can anyone explain

Can you post an example with it's exif data so others can analyse?

From the small pic you uploaded, everything seems fine. I think we'd need a higher-res file to see the grain you're referring to, as I assume, that's what's terrible in your recent version of Lightroom? The part of the exif I was thinking of is the ISO setting on this pic. Maybe it was shot at a higher ISO by accident? Or you used a preset that applied grain to the image?

That image you posted is tiny. Is it possible you imported thumbnails and not raw files and you are looking at zoomed in views of these tiny images/thumbnails?

Is this what it looks like for you?



If so, check the dimensions in the metadata panel. If they're tiny too, that's your problem.

Can you post a a fill size screenshot like I've posted as well as a file and its exif data so we can help troubleshoot?
