Problems using CC apps when my internet connection breaks

As soon as an Internet connection is unavailable, so is Photoshop and the rest of the apps in Creative Cloud. It has been this way since the release of CC and it doesn't seem to be addressed as an issue. This means I cannot use any of Adobes software unless I am online which is incredibly bad and a serious problem at times. Software as a service is fine as long as you actually provide service. When paying as much as I am for this software, I cannot recommend it to anyone anymore. You obviously encourage competitors to take you on and I believe you seriously need to be challenged to improve your service.

What is a cloud? Nothing I should pay for.

I have no problem using any Adobe app when offline. I always keep the latest versions installed. Lightroom and Photoshop both work regardless of whether I am connected to the internet or not on both of my machines.

Your issue is likely system specific. If it occurred when you did the last update, it is possible you have a bad install. Have you attempted an uninstall/reinstall on the affected apps? Including the Creative Cloud app?

Ask Adobe commercial support. They should be able to fix this for you. Normally you need to come online once a month, no more.

Thank you Paul and Rikk for the suggestions. I am using windows 7 and the problem occurs as soon as my Internet connection is unavailable. It tells me my trial period has ended, that I must activate by purchasing a licence. I find it very frustrating but I will look into finding a solution if you guys aren't experiencing the same.
