Photoshop randomly locks up files while saving at the 98% mark and then you cannot do anything with the file other than close it!

The workaround I found was to go to IMGAGE>DUPLICATE and then save the duplicate file to my desktop. From there, close them both out and then replace the original with the new file. A bit of a pain, but at least you won't lose hours of work.

C'mon Adobe... FIX THIS ISSUE!!!

CC 2015
Yosemite 10.10.1

It's happened on 2 other machines running the same system here as well and on another one running the same system and CC 2014.

Why are you not using MacOS 10.10.5 -- Apple has fixed a lot of bugs since 10.10.1.

Those other 3 machines are on 10.10.5. I have not updated due to incompatibility concerns with a few softwares that are due for updates themselves and I help/train everyone here so can't afford to have issues. Once they do I am jumping to El Capitan (GAYEST NAME for an OS EVER! – Small Wonder - Rollseyes) because the updates will make them Capitan compatible.

I've been an apple tech for 22+ years and as such I know that just because updates are released it doesn't mean it repairs everything and they can in fact cause more harm than good. We are a HIGH Production studio and cannot afford to take risks which is a huge FIGHT I have with our IT guys who are former Apple Employees, who are lost 95% of the time.

Regardless, this issue is a new one that's been plaguing a few of us and I've researched a bit this afternoon and found this issue is nothing new and dates back as far as CS6 for some.
