Lightroom Desktop: Not synced disk offline

Some photos are saying "not synced, disk offline". My external drive is connected. I'd love to upload an image to this post, but, to nobody's surprise, your image attachments don't work either.

This is one of probably 5 separate issues I have simply trying to import, backup and sync my photos to adobe's cloud. Does adobe even do QA anymore? I'm absolutely horrified at the user experience I've had in the 2 months I've been testing Adobe Lightroom CC as a photo management platform. Do these issues get reported somewhere?

Upload of image works for me. I dragged the image and dropped it on top of the Camera ICON. Size limit is 2 megs, perhaps that was the problem for yours.  This is the forum on which you can post issues/// sometimes the real problem is that people don't know how to use the changed things..

Nathanael,

We need more information in order to start to diagnose your issue.

OS?
Version Number?
Lightroom Version Number?
External Drive type?
Connection for drive?
Power Settings for computer?

Reply back with this information and we will try to figure out what is needed to correct your system's operation.

Don't know what you mean by power settings for the computer. It's a 2017 15" Macbook Pro 2.8Ghz i7

re "power settings" ... Does your computer "go to sleep" or shut down ? Does your external  drive power down "to conserve power"?
