None of the brushes in LR are working since this last update. I have closed and restarted program many times to see if it would 'reset' them and it has not.

The first thing to check is do you have the Flow or Density set to an extremely low value?

lol, thank you! I never even thought to look there as I adjust it by the sliders above it normally. I usually keep the flow and density at the same level as always. I guess when the update went through it zeroed them out. You saved the day... at least mine! Thank you much!

Both of these are setup correctly yet I still have issues using my adjustment brush. The action will even show up in my History list and the pin will be placed where I started, however NOTHING happens. The overlay will not show either (my color is green). If I close and re-open, sometimes it will resume to work, but arbitrarily it will stop at some point. VERY frustrating! I'm at a loss as I have the most current version of Windows on an HP ZBook 3 w/16GB RAM and my SSD is half full as I store all my photos on an external hard drive (even moved photos to an external SSD w/type-C connection to no avail). HELP, anyone! I've perused the internet and Adobe, but nothing helps!

@Cynthia Woodall-Fontenot - one of the common things I see people do is attempt to assign a star-rating while in the Adjustment brush tool.  If you attempt to assign a 1-star rating by hitting a [ 1 ] key with the brush tool active, it actually sets the Flow to 10% (2 sets it to 20%) and so on. If you hit a #1 when you are active and set your Flow to 10% it will be very difficult to see that you are indeed painting.  Anytime the brush stops working as you describe, check Flow and Density and make sure they have decent values (50% or higher) to ensure you can see what you are doing.
