Bridge: Non-standard GPS coordinates

Adobe Bridge has a non-standard format for GPS coordinates, in degrees-comma-space decimal minutes, or 32, 54.45N for example. Among all the choices that's one that DOESN'T compute with most software. Oddly, if you do a File info... you get degrees minutes decimal seconds, like 37° 52' 59.862" N, which most applications can handle. Note that Lr uses that format as well.

And unlike Lr, the lat and long are in two different fields, so it requires two different cut and pastes to manipulate it.

We should have an option to select the format, like decimal degrees, etc. Bridge is doing the conversion internally anyway, but the shown result is one of the few that is nonstandard.

I totally agree with you and you have my full support for what it is worth. (I started a conversation about this issue and received no replies to date.) As it is, this is very frustrating for the reasons you point out. Could not options be easily offered for the GPS coordinate format in Bridge preferences? ...and for UK users I would like to see British National Grid references as an option too.
