Adobeforums.com: No way to send personal messages to forum participants

Unless I overlooked, it appears it is no longer possible to send private messages via the old forum site any more (nor on this site, yet).

This was a valuable feature for many of us, please find a way to allow us to contact each other without posting to the public forum.

Also, I had some messages with valuable content saved in my mailbox there which I have now lost - any way to get at those messages?

Which "old forums" are you referring to? The Adobe Forums are still there at http://forums.adobe.com. All that moved here are the Feature Request discussions for the Photoshop Family. If you previously had a mailbox on the Forums site, it should still be there.

I'm not sure why I'm having this problem, but I can see no way to send a private message on the old forums, for example to Chuck T. on page: http://forums.adobe.com/people/ChuckT.... Can you? is it a login issue??, wrong URL???...

Likewise my page no longer has an option to view my mailbox, URL: http://forums.adobe.com/people/areohb...

I just sent you a private message over in the Adobe Forums. Please sign in there and let me know if the message did not go through. Thanks!

OK - it was a strange web error of some kind - it was treating me as if I weren't logged in although I was. All is well now - thanks.

Glad it is sorted. I was going to say that the screen shot looked like you weren't signed in.

Take care...

I assume 'twas a spurious hiccup - OK to delete this thread AFAIC.
