I am unable to scroll in LR, with the trackpad or trackpoint, on my Lenovo W520 or T61 laptops unless I hover over the scroll bars. All drivers are up to date and I have no problems with other apps.

I also have the same problem in LR with Thinkpad T420, Thinkpad T420s, and Thinkpad X201. All are running Win7 pro x64 with all drivers up to date. Hopefully Adobe will fix this as it is a huge problem.

This is due to a setting in windows 8 that disables mouse clicks while using the keyboard (ie holding space).

To disable this, do the following:

1. Bring up the charms bar (bottom right corner)
2. Click settings
3. Click change pc settings
4. Select PC and devices
5. Select Mouse and touchpad
6. Under touchpad, select "No delay (always on)"

Scrolling should now work as supposed to.

Enjoy!
