No real-time preview for shape color changes. This was available in previous versions, prior to CS6, and was very useful.

Could you provide a little more detail about what you're referring to?

To reproduce:

1. Create a new image
2. Create a new rectangle shape
3. Change the color of the shape fill using the color picker

PRIOR to CS6, each time you released the mouse on a new color within the color picker, the color of the shape would update within the image. This interactive preview feedback was extremely useful in choosing colors withing the context of the image you're working on. This is much more useful than making a judgement regarding a color choice based on a tiny color swatch.

In CS6, the color of the shape only changes once you've clicked "OK" in the color picker.

I'd really love to see this patched in. Makes my work so much slower having to click OK to see the colour updated.

Workaround - double-click a shape's thumbnail to get the colour picker which works as you require.

This still needs to be fixed so accessing the color picker either way works the same.

This problem persists in Photoshop CC.
