When I try to upload a picture using Ubuntu and Firefox it does not show I have any pictures inside the directory. It will only show videos. It acts like there are no pictures to upload but they are there. I tried to use Chrome also. Any ideas? Has anyone tried using Photoshop online with Ubuntu?

The file extensions for image files must be .jpg, or .png, or .gif, or a RAW format in order for this to work on Windows or Mac; don't know if that clue is helpful or not, though!

They are standard .jpg files. They are visable using Windows but not Ubuntu using the photo upload tool. Is there away around the upload? Maybe a email address or other method that can be used to get the files on the site?

We do not support emailing to ps.com; the only methods available are Photoshop Elements and the installable uploader (based on Adobe AIR), or the Photoshop Express mobile/iOS app. Sorry I can't be of more help.
