I have just started using Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 (was using CS4). A lot of getting used to for sure (especially the Layers pane). Anyway, one thing I find most annoying is that every document you open in Photoshop takes up a spot on the taskbar. Did a search and found that the same issue was brought up for CS5 (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/776460) in Jan 2011. It's hard to believe that this same problem is still not fixed in Aug 2012! Please fix this by giving users the option to turn off the multiple icons on taskbar.

This is a feature of Windows 7 or later.

To change how programs and buttons appear on the taskbar

Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Taskbar and Start Menu.

Under Taskbar appearance, select "Always combine, hide labels" from the Taskbar buttons list.

To use small icons, select the Use small icons check box. To use large icons, clear the check box.

Click OK.
