In LR 4.4RC, while exporting some photos, if are moved to another folder, LR doesn't give an error message saying that some of the photos that are moving are currently in export process.

Who/what is moving them - you, via Lr UI? (or external process...)

Is the problem when moved prior to export, or at the moment of export...?

Do you want there to be an export error, or a move error - which one?

Why are you trying to move photos in mid-export? (occasional mistake?)

I think a bit of elaboration would help me, maybe others, to better understand the nature of the problem you are having.

In moving them in Lightroom.

I think is preferable to have an moving error message and continue the exporting process. For me, makes sense to give preference to the export process instead of the moving.

I was moving of making small tests. And surely, it can be a mistake.

I hate to say it, but this "problem" could also be considered a "feature".

I mean, Lightroom is designed to allow you to keep working whilst continuing to export. Nothing intrinsically wrong with initiating an export, then moving the photos, is there?

I dunno - maybe this is obvious to everyone but me, but you may need to make a stronger case - what is the problem, exactly?

Note: most exports do not make use of folder-path/name when exporting. If you try moving photos using a tree-structured export plugin you might have an undesirable result, but I would guess most normal exports are unaffected by moving the files during export - am I wrong?

Bottom-line: I can imagine a problem here, but so far it's still theoretical. - feel free to enlighten me / us ... (I don't mind standing corrected).

Cheers,
Rob

If you are exporting some photos and while, you moved them onto another folder, all the moved photos before finished exporting, are not exported; export process "jumps" these files. I didn't explain this before, sorry.

Thanks for clarifying - I see your point now.
