I almost wish I had never take a college course that included Photoshop. I bought Design Premium CS5 to start, I still didn't get a download after 4 days, so I asked for the money back. I was told, at the college bookstore, that Photoshop Elements 9 was the program I needed to take the class. So I got it. Class started and I find that I need Photoshop CS5, because Elements doesn't have Adobe Bridge. I tried asking a question to see if the "Organizer" in PSE9 was essentially the same as Adobe Bridge, and get no answer. My first assignment is due on Sunday. So I come back here to Adobe.com to get a trial download to hold me over til I get Photoshop CS5. I've been waiting all damn day and still no download. At one point it was down to 2 hours but for some reason stopped downloading, and now it says I have to wait 4 more hours, for 960MBs!! What's up with that??!! %$#@^%#%^%*&*%$##$@%&^&

Hello, are you sure that the email you provided for adobe.com is valid?
Did you check if you had the email with the link to downlad in your spam folder?

I think that elements on PC or Mac differ, the first has the organizer, the second one has bridge...
Is your internet connection a fast one?

Yes the email is valid. I have the PSE9 program on disk, and had no problems with loading it. And yes, I have HSI. I am downloading directly from Adobe.com. I have not had any luck at all with the downloading. Another thing that upset me, when I purchased Design Premium CS5, is that the sales person I talked to said, I would get disks for it in the mail. I really appreciate tangible goods, when I spend that much money for a product. Would the Mac version work on a Windows 7 machine? I wish I had a Mac, they are way better than Windows/Microsoft Colander computers. :)

PSE9 uses Organizer, not Bridge, that’s right. They serve similar purposes but are different programs. You can learn more about it—and see if it does what you need for your class—by checking out Adobe Elements 9 Organizer Help.

Meanwhile, if you’re having trouble downloading a trial version of PS CS5.5, see if any of the suggestions in this doc help: Troubleshoot download problems.

Ok, so I now I am using Internet Exploder, instead of Firefox, to download it. I got 6 hours to wait with that one :( does it even really matter since both browsers use the Adobe Download Assistant? It should only take 40 minutes with cable internet.
