Lightroom: No change in image while changing the luminance noise reduction?

Lightroom does not reflect moving the slider of Luminance noise reduction in the image. Using the latest 3.4.1

Are you sure you're looking at the image in 1:1 view? NR is not visible in all views, see this free excerpt of Victoria Bampton's book "Adobe Lightroom 3 The Missing FAQ ".

Thanks for this, it helped, but I expected that the preview renders live as with other changes, I wish i could at least re-render the preview manually, so I'm not confused when I go over the image later.

i just realised why the noise reduction doesn't always show up in 1:1 view. it's when i've used either the graduating filter or brush on the pic (could possibly include eye reduction filter but rarely use this). is there anywhere that i can give adobe direct feedback re this as i would love it to be fixed asap. it would really help with the workflow

Petr, you may like this feature request for more accurate rendering in the Develop module (even at lower magnification levels).
