Lightroom: No "busy" indication while applying changes or presets to an image.

That's not the secret that today's lightroom is slow. Even when I work with one image. When I apply a preset or do corrections using tools from tool menu it takes sometime upto 10-20 second for lightroom to finish its job. And timing is different each time. What is uncomfortable - there is no any kind of indication that lightroom still doing its job! I am not talking about progress bar as it can be complicated, but it could be just running wheel that would appear on start and disappear at the end of applying.
Thank you.

You need to solve this problem. Asking for some indicator (which might very well be in the top-right corner -- have you looked?) is only applying a band-aid.

There are a lot of threads here, and a main one, that suggests how to solve this very problem. Have you tried it?

Are you talking about adjusting a single image or a busy indicator for the times when you are adjusting multiple images at once (Sync or Auto Sync)?

If the former, I never see 20 sec delays - a busy badge is certainly not a solution. If the latter - there's the famous ”three dots” on thumbnail frames.
