Lightroom 6: No ACE exam?

Hello, I would like to schedule an ACE exam in Lightroom, but Pearson Vue had informed me that Ace exam for Lightroom 5 has been retired at the end of 2016, but they also said me there's actually not in developement any new version of the exam.
I need this certification for job reasons, so how much time should I wait before the new exam (Lr CC?) will be released? months? years? never?
I can't believe no one cannot get certified in a popular software like LR anymore.
Thank you for any info you can get me.

Hi Andrea, currently there are no plans to offer an ACE exam for current or future versions of Lightroom. Unfortunately, there was not enough interest to keep this certification offering.

Sad news, months of studying for nothing. That's a pity there's no way to certify my knowledge of Lr now. Thank you Jeffrey, very fast answer to my question.

This is TERRIBLE! I am already an Adobe Certified Expert in Lightroom and it is the cornerstone of my entire business. Has brought me countless clients.

So, I can't keep the certification that I worked years to acquire current?

True, there weren't many certified, but that made it that much more valuable to my clients. I think perhaps Adobe should have looked at the material on the test rather than blame others for not being interested.

This deeply saddens me but I can't say I am surprised. I literally received zero support or community from Adobe except a small selection of logos to use.
