Elements 14: No internet connectivity when I am connected on Windows 7

I clicked on my icon and it says I must sign in and register. Then it says I have no internet connectivity when I do. My time and date is correct because it ask to check. I have restarted my computer several times. Did a complete shut down and reboot. I have also reinstalled the program and still I am not able to register the product. I do have a Adobe ID and registered the product online but, I am not still able to register because of no internet connectivity.

Which product are you using?
Which version?
Which OS version?

Have you checked your hosts file to make sure there is no errant adobe.com entry in it?

The product is PSE 14 and I am using Windows 7 service pack 1

Something on your system or network is preventing Elements from contacting Adobe's servers.

That could be a misconfigured firewall, or bad entries in your system hosts file.
