Just to add some extra notes to this for the engineers, Jevon also had to use a config.lua file to stop Classic crashing, so I'm thinking GPU... is there a config.lua fix for CC too? Original thread here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/9986616#9986616

Have you tried unchecking the "Use Graphics Processor" option on the General tab of LRCC's preferences? Does that make a difference?

Maybe Victoria has asked this but have you tried resetting your preferences?

If that doesn't help try this:

Drop the config.lua file from https://adobe.ly/2m7X9cS to below location

 C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom CC\config.lua

Many thanks Rick for your time and effort on this one , it now works as intended after the addition of the config.lua file.
