PHOTOSHOP CS6 - No Image menu?

It's my first time using CS6, and I'm trying to do a dead easy task: resize an image. There's no image menu at the top and the online help brilliantly suggests clicking the Image menu. I've now spent 20 minutes trying to find or add an Image menu to the top menu bar, to no avail. I'm officially going back to using CS3.

Hello Lala,

The Command Menu for CS6 should be: File, Edit, Image, Layer, Select, Filter, 3D, View, Window, Help.  Is that not what you're seeing?

While it is possible to suppress individual entries, such as File > Save As, the highest level entry, in this case Image, is never suppressed, even if all sub-items are (I even re-tested this to be sure).

If you cannot see Image in the Command Menu, there's almost certainly something seriously wrong with your installation.  You can contact me through this forum and I can help you troubleshoot it.

Thanks,
David
