Nikon D610 Corrupted files Bridge CC and Camera Raw

In opening a RAW Nikon D610 file from Bridge (CC) the image opens in Camera Raw with a yellow warning triangle. When I upload to my retouchers they are unable to work on the file. The process works fine with D3x RAW files. Documentation about D610 support indicates it is supported however my experience is to the contrary. Does anyone else have the same issue with the Nikon D610? How well has the support for the D610 been tested?

The D610 is supported just fine, if PS is updated to Camera Raw 8.3, which is the latest version at the moment. The D3x has been supported for many years, already, so being updated to the latest plug-in is important with the D610.

Do you see any words if you hover over the yellow warning triangle? If you're not updated to ACR 8.3, then perhaps the previous version had preliminary support.

If you are updated to ACR 8.3 and the retouchers are, too, (or use LR 5.3) then the files are likely corrupted, somehow--where the Bridge view is the embedded JPG preview at the beginning of the file, that is still intact.

You can post one, here, so others can take a look, if you want. Use something like http://www.dropbox.com/ and post a public download link in a reply.

Thanks Steve.
I'm running Bridge CC 6.0.1.6 / Camera Raw 8.3.0.141 / PS CC 14.2.1 x64 / LR 5.3
I will check the what the retouchers are using but i still have the warning triangle appear (and then disappear) when I open in Camera Raw.
Here's an example https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oadnp9ahf0...
Any feedback is more than welcome.

I don’t see anything wrong with the D610 NEF/XMP pair you sent via Dropbox when opened in PS-CC/ACR 8.3.

There is a warning triangle for a moment and then it disappears as it always does with any raw file opened in ACR, to indicate the preview and histogram are still being computed, and therefore what you see, initially, may not be entirely accurate.

If your retouchers can’t open the files then it is likely they are not updated to ACR 8.3 or Lightroom 5.3 or something is happening to them en route. If you're not sure which, then have one of them download the files off of dropbox and confirm that they don't work, either.

You should probably have your retouchers confirm what version of Camera Raw they are using in PS via Help / About Plug-ins (PC) or About Camera Raw (somewhere on the Mac PS menus). And if they aren't using ACR 8.3 then that is the problem and they should update via Help / Updates....
