Photo Rumors today has a post about Lightroom 7 possibly being announced at Adobe Max next month. I'm guessing that means an update to Lightroom CC too. It is also appearing that we will not get Lightroom support for the Nikon D850 until then. Hmmm. That means a wait of approximately 6 weeks between camera availability and Lightroom support (yes, I know ACR has been updated; that requires the annoying dng work around). I know that Adobe folks are working hard to get Lightroom to run faster (yea), but why does that mean that D850 support has to be delayed?

I am surprised that there is no formal communication by Adobe.
I am hoping that your post gets a lot of attention on social media. No doubt Adobe is working hard on this, but the lack of c ommunication to thier customers, many using their products for 10+ years, is bordering to an arrogance that doesnt fit 2017.

Good that Victoria follows this. Perhaps she can influence Adobe to at least communicate with its customers.
