Hello, I am using a professional camera with professional lenses. Th e Nikon D800 and D810 and among the lenses the professional Nikkor AFS 28-70 2.8 D (Slilent Wave Motor), also called 'the beast'. This is one of Nikons best professional lenses, which I use in combination with the 70-200 2.8 VRII and so on. Unfortunatly Photoshop/Adobe camera RAW doesn't recognize this wonderful lens. This lens has been announced in 1999 and has been sold until 2010. It was the main professional standard zoom lens for Nikon photographers, is still used a lot and performs perfectly well on the newest camera models. (http://www.photozone.de/nikon_ff/809-...). Is there something that can be done about this issue? I want be the only once who uses this perfect lens. I would like to hear from you! Kind regards, Martin de Bouter | Professional Photographer fotolitho@kpnmail.nl

Hello Martin,

You might be able to find a user-generated profile for this lens by downloading the free Adobe Lens Profile Downloader (ALPD) and performing a search. A quick check and there are three profiles that appear to be for the 28-70.

Get the ALPD here:
