Newbie : need help to conditionally batch process some images

I'm working on a game. I've got some source files that are designed and configured to work in a 2048 x 1536 resolution. The source files contain Jpeg files and 24 bit .png files with the alpha preserved. I need to process these files, scale them down by 70.3 percent to work for 1440 x 1040 resolutions ( assets are all various sizes ), run a highpass filter and put in overlay mode and flatten and then save the .pngs and jpeg respectively into a folder called, "1440". Then need to repeat the above process to work for 1024 X 768 resolutions. Is this possible in CS5.5 or later versions? I've got a bit of a deadline and tons to do in the next few days and it's looking like I may have to run this kind of batch on a nightly basis. Do any scripts similar to this exist? I tried Siva's Conditional in Photoshop Cs2 and ran into a few problems and error messages when I attempted to use it. Any help or suggestions very much appreciated.

I do not know why you posted this as a bug reports

I would think it would be easy to do the 2048x1536 to 1024x768 for both are 4:3 aspect ratios all you need do is a simple constrained re-size with the Image Processor pro script.

1440x1040 is not a 4:3 aspect ratio is a 18:13 aspect ratio the images would need to be cropped and re-sized or distorted into the 18:13. A distorted re-size would be easy to do with a batched action as would a crop and re-size if all input images are the 3MP 2013x1536 4:3 aspect ratio. You would need to choose which area the crop would be.

However you wrote asset are various sizes and are both png and jpeg and you need to run a high-pass filter and flattens where did the layers come from png and jpeg formats do not support layers. Do you mean you want to dupe the layer run the high-pass filter on the dupe and change the blending mode to overlay to sharpen the re-size Jpegs do not support transparency alpha channels

If you just want to re size down assets some percentage percentage you can do that also with a batched re-size action

I also did not see any condition listed actions can not use logic but scripting can so if there are conditions you need to check for you may need to write a script.
