If I have a new function idea which is not already in Photoshop currently, but it can be easily implemented, then after implementing it, would I get my name mentioned in the CREDITS window during program start-up ?

Generally not.

The credits are for people working full time on the application, though we also have some credits further down the list for those who have contributed significant artwork or presets.

Chris hello,

Thanks for your reply.
It would be fun for me to see my name somewhere, yes.
How does it generally work getting credited further down the list if implemented?

I personally think, my contribution would be a good addition to Photoshop general functionality. And it's easy to implement too, I believe, as it is derived from 2 current functionalities and can be extended further than I think possible, even though I'm not a programmer.
(Actually I'm amazed this feature hasn't been thought of before yet, heheh).

Thanks for your reply.
Tgds,
Hans

Just post the feature request. But it is rare for someone not working at Adobe to be mentioned in the credits.
