New Adobe Update tonight won't let PSE9 recognize printer

I had an update from Adobe tonight that I installed (didn't recall what the update was for - my bad), and now I cannot print from PSE9 to my HP7500A Wide Format Printer. It doesn't recognize any printer on my network. I can print from Lightroom, Word, etc with no problem, just not PSE. In reading forum posts, one person talked about being able to print in PSE from Organizer while not in normal PSE mode..I tried it and it worked. Not sure why the normal 'print' function does not work in PSE. (Error message reads: Before you can perform printer related tasks such as page set-up or printing a document you need to install a printer)

(p.s. I think the update had to do with Adobe Extend Script Toolkit CS5)

That's odd -- Elements 9 hasn't been updated in several years.
Elements 12 is the current version.

Hi Chris....The update wasn't to PSE....it was another Adobe update - I didn't pay attention to the update, but I think it was related to what I mentioned in the OP. I could print the night before with PSE, then the update and now I can't. I uninstalled PSE and reinstalled. No difference. I renamed the printer, no change. Any ideas/suggestions?

No other Adobe update would affect your printer.
More likely something else changed, like an OS update, or a driver update.

No other updates happened. Guess I go the 'old standby' route and restore my computer to factory. Thanks for your help.
