Can some one pleas explain to me why I am having so much trouble with the cloning tool using my Wacom tablet now that I have just switched over to the new Mac OS X Yosemite, as well as the new Photoshop CC. There is a delay in the cloning it is slow and frustrating even going back through the history palette there is a one second delay before it changes the history state I was told to turn off the rulers in Photoshop which I did and it improved as before it took ages before I could move anything with the hand tool after cloning but the lags in cloning still sucks to the point I have gone back to using my old Mac and Photoshop CS5 when I have to clone and retouch. At the moment I am telling my colleges not to bother with any upgrades until this crapy feature is sorted out. And why change the way the cropping tool worked is is frusrating me and is there some kind of tutorial for me to learn howe it works ?

Hi Warren,

Were things working with Photoshop CC prior to your OS update/upgrade?

What version of the Wacom driver are you running?

Have you tried restoring your preferences? http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Hi Jeffrey, the whole lot is new from the computer to the photoshop the Wacom is older and has been transfered over from my old computer the model Wacom is model PTZ-930 and I have not tried restoring my preferences I would have to get some advice from my supplier for that. I still have my older OS 10 system and a smaller Wacom with that and that's what's getting me through at the moment regarding retouching . Thanks Warren
