Hi guys! In my mind came idea for new look of layers window. If you can program this, it would be really cool! My idea is that new layer window does not have scrollbar anymore.Scrolling through layers should be like on smartphone. When you come on layers hand tool appears and you just srcolling through layers. Design proposal is that new layers look is now isometric. Please checked attached photo so you can get better point what I am talking about.
Thank you and regards!

In what way is this useful? How does covering up 75% of the layer help me to see what's on it?

My idea is new, better look of layers window. To modernize it and to easy it ́s usage. I do not understand your question very well. Could you please explain a little bit better? What do you mean by "covering up 75% of the layer" ?
Thnx!

What i meant was that in your mock-up, when there's more than one layer, 75% of layers underneath are covered up by the layers above. Most of us who use Ps regularly need to be able to quickly glance at our layers to see the content. If most of the layer is not visible, how are we supposed to see what's on it? And where are the layer names? Are those covered up too? What happens when i have dozens, if not hundreds of layers? How is your design more optimal than what we already have?

I think what is being said is that all we want to see when we look at our layers is the contents of each layer. It's very difficult to see what is really going on in such a small JPG, and impossible to read the information above each isometric shape, but it doesn't look like I can glance at my Layers panel and see that the layer is a Group, open or closed, contains pixels or instructions, has or does not have a mask—the sort of thing we need to see all the time when looking in the Layers panel.

I'm as puzzled as Eartho is by what you're showing us, or how it would be easier for us to know where the doodad is in the group of whatsits, by looking at your isometric buildings. Perhaps if you provided a larger set of images that more clearly demonstrates the new workflow when using your Layers concept?

Hmm Ok! Now I undestand both of you! :) The trick is, that is a little bit hard to explain when I am not a programmer. If I do these with some programmers and make a video and show It to you (or adobe) definetly you would get the picture from "my head". It ́s little bit hard to explain through images. Though, when I catch some time I can try that too!
Thank you very much for reading and commenting! :)
