Avery label addons install in wrong directory

Just re-installed Creative Cloud and then Photoshoip & Lightroom on my Laptop.

I have "My Documents" & "Desktop" in non-standard locations (on a separate data disk).

When installing, Photoshop cc created two directories in the wrong location. Firstly a new "Documents" directory was created to include a folder called "Avery templates for Adobe", then a new Desktop folder was created to include Actions.

The install routine should check where "My Documents" and "Desktop" are located before creating new versions - in the wrong place

Installing Photoshop doesn't add anything for Avery templates.
Most likely that was created when you installed templates downloaded from Avery.

Thanks for the feedback, but I'm 99% certain that I'm right.

Firstly, I reformatted my hard disk and then re-installed windows. I then downloaded Creative Cloud as one of the first progs to re-install, and added LR & Photoshop from the Apps tab (I have the Photography subscription).

My Adobe parent folder was created on 28th May at 10:44:20. My Photoshop Folder was created at 10:44:20, my Lightroom folder at 11:16:04.

The Avery Labels folder was created at 11:15:08, and the Actions folder at 11:16:06.

Secondly I have not installed anything from Avery, and I have an otherwise virtually program free installation currently.

So the timings for creating the folders fits perfectly for being an Adobe add-on,

And I'm 100% certain that Photoshop does not install Avery labels -- we don't have any Avery label files or folders in our product.

I have Photoshop CS3 through CC 2014 installed on my machines here, and zero Avery template files or folders. I also have Illustrator and InDesign installed, and no Avery templates files or folders. We don't even have Avery templates in the addons/exchange site.

It sounds like you downloaded http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Temp...

Also, what was in the Desktop folder? Photoshop by default doesn't install anything to the desktop.

I've attached a screen grab from the Creative Cloud Activity Stream. As you'll see, this installs Avery Labels, and a list of Actions.

So back to my original request. The install routine should check where "My Documents" and "Desktop" are located before creating new versions - in the wrong place

Incidentally, this was the DEFAULT install. I did not select or add these options

No, that is not part of the default download of any Adobe product.
Those are additional things that you (or someone on your system using your AdobeID) chose to download.

Everything in the application downloads would be listed as a single download of the application.
