LIGHTROOM - New Import dialog design issues

This is not a rant about missing functionality.

Most experienced users use the Import Presets heavily. Once set up you can repeat the destination requirements without trying to remember each setting. The Import preset controls the Destination Panel, the Keywords and Metadata panel AND all of the settings in the Advanced panel. IOW, all of the settings are included in the import preset. The dropdown to invoke the Import Preset should be listed FIRST, above e the Destination Panel, Above the Keywords and Metadata panel and Above the Advanced Panel.
As currently designed, the dropDownListBox is almost hidden in the Advanced panel.
My usual Import workflow for years has been to insert a camera card. let the Import dialog open, Select an Import preset (if the last used is not the one I want) and press the Import button. It would be nice if the Import button and the Import Preset dropDownListBox were together at the top of the screen. Also the new Import dialog does not remember the last used Import Preset. So that it needs to be selected each time the Import dialog is invoked. Making all of the last used settings persistent from one import to the next would speed up the import process greatly.

If this change were made, I might not be irritated that I had to remember to leave LR to eject the camera card. Since the beginning of LR, you trained users to set the eject flag and forget about needing to eject the card before removing it. Remember, it was Adobe that trained us to expect this feature. Some of us old users are getting too old to retrain.
