Lightroom: Negative search

After the facerecognition has found some of the photos with a specific person I, in lightroom classic used to use anti-search for that person (searching for photos without the person). If I'm not mistaken this is not available in lightroom CC. Am I wrong? If I'm not is there a workaround? I'm frankly slightly surprised that noone else seems to miss this very useful negative search. I hope that is because its still there somewhere.

Face recognition adds a person keyword to the photo.
You can then create a dynamic collection with a rule "Keyword doesn't contain" and the person keyword. It should contain alla photos but those with the person.

Thank you, that is a useful workaround.

But this only works in classic, there are no smart collections in CC

What you can do is search for that person, select all the photos that the search comes up with and set the 'Pick' flag on these photos. Then search for unflagged photos to get all images without this person.
