I had Photoshop 8 software so I could edit my pictures on my computer and I need to have that capability again. As far as I can see Revel is simply a storage site which is great, but I need a program that will allow me to edit, make changes to lighting, etc. What are my options since I can't use my Photoshop 8 anymore.

If you use Photoshop Elements 8 for editing, there is no reason you can't still use it for editing unless you no longer have the software or serial number.

If you saved files directly to photoshop.com from Elements, then you may know that photoshop.com sharing and storage has been discontinued. Users files migrated to revel if they did not opt out.

Revel is another storage and sharing product that we offer. The apps have some simple editing features also, but the focus is on storage and sharing and having access to your photos on all your devices.

Elements 8 can not store photos directly to Revel, but if you save them to your computer, you can upload them to revel from our browser version at adoberevel.com or from the Mac or Win8 apps. You can also upload from iphone or ipad, android devices, and publish from lightroom.

If you wish to have a connection to Revel directly from elements and sync your files in both places, you can upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 use mobile albums with the Elements organizer.

If you only need an editing program, you can use your current version of Photoshop Elements 8, upgrade to our current version of Photoshop Elements 12 in the consumer realm or you can subscribe to Photoshop if you need a professional editing program.
