Hi Chris:
Can you get the team to finally get the Filter Family, specifically Angled Strokes to work in 16 bit mode? I have been waiting for this since Version 7. It is an important image processing tool, as it can vectorize and homogenate the grain structure in film-based photography, and blend the sub-pixels in digital photography. I think the PS team simply looks at the function as something to use for graphics, when it is far, far more important for photo imaging. Contact me direct if you need example pieces to show the team.
cheers, Pete Myers, Santa Fe

Hmm, that one uses median filters -- so while it could be made to work in 16 bit/channel, it won't be very fast.

Getting any of the creative filters (especially the filter gallery filters) updated will require some convincing evidence for product management.

Yes, if you have a different use for that filter - examples would help. Send them to ccox (at) adobe [dot] com.
