Lightroom 4: Navigator panel stuck on last photo the mouse cursor rolled over on the second display

LR4 seems to have an annoying bug where the Navigator panel's image is stuck on whatever photo your mouse cursor last rolled over on the second monitor. Consider the following screen shot of my primary:

I'm clearly zoomed in on a marina photo, trying to paint in some exposure on a boat. However, the navigator is stubbornly displaying a picture of an Impala SS (which happened to be directly in my mouse cursor's path to the primary monitor from when I selected the marina photo in the Grid on the second). In paint mode, I can't use the hand cursor to pan my marina image as I paint in exposure. In LR3, I *used* to be able to move the loupe-rectangle in the Navigator panel, but now it's always displaying the wrong freaking photo.

I really like working with Develop module on my primary display with the Grid displayed on the secondary monitor. It allows me to switch photos quickly without the filmstrip consuming a valuable strip of horizontal real estate.

I have the same problem, and it's driving me mad!

A few things I've noticed that might help to track it down...

You can get the navigator back to where it should be by opening the filmstrip and hovering over any of the images, then closing it again. I wouldn't want to make that part of my everday workflow :( but it is a workaround.

The navigator window still lets you mouse around and move an invisible loupe rectangle, it's just not drawing it. Fixing the navigator (by hovering over the filmstrip and going back again) returns the loupe rectangle.

When selecting an image using the grid on the second monitor, even if you go out of your way to make sure you hover over the desired image last (so the navigator appears to match the main image), the loupe rectangle is still gone.

I've had a few other odd behaviours where hovering over images in the grid in the second monitor causes the navigator to flicker, going between the hovered image and the image currently being edited. (Dangit, I just automatically typed "flickr", heh.)
