I will be using my Photoshop Elements 11 Editor and it will freeze up. It won't let me do anything, and won't close either. I have to restart my computer to get it working again. But this is happening more frequently. Is there a way to fix this, or maybe an update to fix this bug?
I have tried closing it every way I can. I guess I should've mentioned that I have Windows 8. I'm not sure if it's a problem with Elements or with my computer, but I do know that Elements is the only thing giving me this problem. Everything else works fine.
I am using Elements 11 with Windows 7 64 bit. Recently, upon trying to open the Editor, I'm getting the 'Runtime Error...' popup and Editor will not open.
I've followed the advice about re-naming the MediaDatabase file and this solves it as a one off, but when I try to open Editor the next time, the same thing happens.
I'm puzzled that despite re-naming the file, the old file name is still there! Deleting it makes no difference, it just seems to come back! Uninstalling & re-installing the program makes no difference either.....
Having to go through this tedious procedure each & every time I want to Edit a stack of photos is really getting me down.
Can anyone help, please?
