The Photoshop.com sharing and storage service has been discontinued.

Adobe contacted Photoshop.com users by email to explain that the sharing and storage service was being discontinued and that they had the option of migrating their photos to Revel. Email notices went out on 2/22. There were also posts on social media and on the Photoshop.com website. Additional emails followed.

Because a decision was made to discontinue Photoshop.com sharing and storage, we gave users the option to have their jpg files moved to Revel rather than having all of their efforts deleted. Users who had files on Adobe Photoshop.com Sharing and storage cloud site who did not opt out, had their files copied to Adobe Revel (another Adobe cloud sharing and storage service).

This was done as a convenience for customers so that they did not have to go to the effort of downloading from the one site and uploading to another since that can be very time consuming. Revel is a free account that you login to with the same credentials as you did on Photoshop.com. Although Revel is not a replacement for Photoshop.com (it has more of a focus on sharing between devices), it is an alternative.

It looks like you did not have any jpg files saved in a photoshop.com account using the email you use for this forum. If you believe that you had fles there, is it possible that you used a different email? Are you an elements user who's files are in the elements organizer. Files from elements were only migrated if the users had the auto sync set up with photoshop.com and files were put there.

If you are sure you had files saved, please let me know more details.

Hi Pattie,
Let me rephrase the problem. I transferred all my jpeg images from photoshop.com to revel last winter sometime. In revel I had two libraries, my library and a photoshop library. The photoshop library has disappeared. I am an elements user and had auto sync setup, so I don't know if I was supposed to resave everything in revel or if I hit a storage limit and revel deleted everything?

Generally, the only way a library disappears is if the user deletes it. If you had autosync set up and deleted files from elements, it would have deleted them from PS.com also, and consequently, they would not have migrated to revel. If you use elements 12 and use mobile albums and delete a mobile album from elements organizer, then it would also delete it from revel. Do any of these sound like likely possibilities?

If you hit your upload limit in revel, you simply can not upload more, but we will not autodelete files in that case.

It sounds like you either deleted the library from revel or from elements, which will delete it from both.

You just created the account using the email chinnayadav85@gmail.com. If you logged into revel in the past using an adobe id , facebook, or google password and uploaded files or had a photoshop.com account that migrated, you likely used a different email in which case they would be in a different account.

Have you used a different login in the past?
