I have a new wireless keyboard & mouse. With my old wired mouse i was able to control the sliders in the develop module with the mouse wheel. On my new mouse i can't do this.

I click on the slider to tell Lightroom that i want to adjust it, and in the usual way it stops the scroll wheel from then scrolling the entire window, but it doesn't make it scroll the slider instead. So i now can't control the sliders with the mouse scroll wheel like i used to be able to.

Any ideas as to why?

Problem solved:

I've just realised that although my Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse is part of a deskset and there are no downloads for the deskset from Microsoft, there is in fact downloads for just the mouse (Microsoft wireless mouse 1000). It’s called the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software. I’ve downloaded it for Windows 7 (i will do the same for Windows 8 too when i buy my new computer, as there is a windows 8 version too). Not sure why the software wasn't included in the deskset bundle that i bought.

Lightroom works fine now with the mouse
