Lightroom mobile seems to have updated overnight and once I signed in again this morning all of my purchased presets are gone along with all of the photos have have stored and edited there.

I do see photos on the server associated with the ID you are using in this forum. Can you say more about what you are seeing that suggests they are gone?
I do not see any presets - can you say how you originally installed the presets?

Were you (previously) signed into the Lightroom app, and syncing them with the cloud?
There has never been a way to add presets to the mobile app, other than uploading via the desktop app. But perhaps these were DNG images that were being sold as presets. You mention putting them into the preset file - I'm guessing this was an album?
It sounds like you were using the app in free mode, without signing in.
