My photoshop cannot open more than 80 files at once. Like I open 100 files in raw, edit, then select all and click open. Then those file will be opened in photoshop. But it will stop when it reach 80 files, leave the rest unopened. My friend, he can open as many file as he wants. Is there any setting options so I can set photoshop open more than 100 files at once? Thank you

Might be a RAM limitation. But, on Windows, you would get a warning message. Something like: System is out of memory and unstable. Please close some applications..."

Do you get such a message?

There are a number of factors that could limit what you can effectively open and edit at a time, including (as mentioned here), free RAM, available scratch drive space, and system resources (what else are you running)?  You would need your system specs and your friend's system specs to have a fair comparison.

Thanks,
