When printing Black & White photos only, my print comes out green. In color its awesome. I am using CS6 and a HP Design Jet 800 printer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a sample, one is printed in black & white correct/other is green - should be black & white.

Could be a problem with one of the magenta cartridges, or an ink balance problem in the HP driver/profile for that paper type.

Some printers print with a cast when printing RGB, but not when printing grayscale. And other printers have that reversed...

Thank you Chris for your reply. I will check my magenta cartridge. I am not sure how to adjust the driver/profile for printing. I am printing on Canvas and have the settings on the printer for Canvas. Is there something else I could adjust so it doesn't print this cast of green when it prints? Thanks again!

If you are using a different kind/brand of canvas than what the profile was made for - then that profile would most likely produce some color cast (because it was measured from a different material).

But unless you're just out of ink somewhere or dealing with clogged heads -- bad color means that the driver changed the color values, or the profile does not match the print situation (printer, inks, paper, etc.).
