I would love to have more then one Action's panel. Being able to better organize actions would do a lot for my job and I'm sure improve others workflows. I am a photo editor, and use hundreds of actions.

Action Sets (folders) aren't sufficient at helping organize your actions?

Folders are a great start, but in button mode they blend together. Being able to color the actions, also great. I usually make a fake action with text symbols in them to give some visual separation to help. My current actions panel (im embarassed at how ugly this is, but its a work computer)

This looks super..but tell me...how do you get the actions to fall under the right "fake button" when I go into button mode I do see separation by color but don't seem to be able to move them around to different areas...I must be missing something...thanks!

I have a large collection of actions that I've written. I have them grouped by type of image...ie. Wedding, Portrait, Landscape. To speen thing up I like to use the button mode..but when I do ALL my actions are turned to buttons making the list totally unusable. Pleases make it possible to just apply button mode to a group of actions and not the entire list. Thanks so much for providing such an amazing product.

Nice suggestion Scott. Color coding the different section would be really helpful...can't believe I'd not thought of that..LOL..Wouldn't it be nice is Adobe would just let up use buttons in groups...LOL...maybe one day.

I agree that the action panels need long overdue redesign. Especially now with the proliferation of actions would be very useful to have a better way to organize them and flag or mark favorite ones. Ability to sort them by user defined  type, genre, project etc. perhaps also make it part of the workspace so it would only display limited and specific actions set.

Right now actions are just a big mess, not easy to navigate  with no ability to organize them for easy access.

Hi there,

I just released my panel ActionBrowser CC. With this panel you can search for actions, add favorites and sort them alphabetically.

You can get it here: http://pixelsucht.net/actionbrowser-cc-photoshop-panel/en/start/
There is also a free trial version available.
