This idea is for Photoshop & Illustrator. While Indesign is a good tool it lacks the creative freedom of illustrator and photoshop. I would suggest a multi page for small booklets. I do have a way for it to work within the interface but the details are much too long for a message board. It involves adding a template window much like the layers window ,but it would work across all pages while allowing each page to have it's own set of layers and to edit the template for the individual pages as well. I know it sounds a lot like indesign, but as stated being able to do this in illustrator and photoshop would really help with work flow. I do know files size would be an issue, but maybe have it automatically export each page as it's own file with the option to open them all or individually to edit them later. That's a s simple as I can explain it. It would almost work like groups in layers but allow me to scroll up and down through each page and edit them instead of turning groups on and off as I do now.
