I have not posted anything yet, but my question is: why do I now have to sign in to use my Photoshop app that I have paid for.  This is just time wasting. And to post this question has taken me at least 10 minutes to sign in twice to do it.

In terms of signing into the software to use it, your email address (Adobe ID) and password are the serial # used to activate the software. You should only have to log in once to the software. Are you seeing that you have to sign in repeatedly? If so, which dialogs are you seeing? (screenshot please)

Happened to me about a week ago when telling a file to "Open With PS" from Windows Explorer.

No.  Only once for me so far.  I still sympathize with David as to having to expend yet more time for anything.  I grow tired by the end of any day, much less one with additional complications.

Sorry. Yeah, the OSes also bark more for Admin access from different software. I feel the pain, too, having to do multi-factor authorization for log-ins every day, for every browser and system.

If you see Creative Cloud asking you to sign in to activate often, there might be some other problem happening. Let me know if this is the case. If it's the OS admin dialog popping a bunch, also let me know if it's happening when you launch our products.

Hi Jeff and David,

I had posted a reply but it has not come through, it was to say that my problem just happened once just like David Rye, now everything seems OK, so I guess this was a one off glitch that has been fixed; I hope so. Thanks for your help.

Sure. Let me know if you see it start happening often. There are a few things that can cause a need to log into Creative Cloud again, usually to do with the clock changing or some major upgrade (like an OS major version upgrade).

Great to see people treating each other in a polite manner today.  I am starting to miss that more and more when conducting business, seeing family, or even meeting a stranger while walking on Florida's nature trails.
