What is the procedure for moving image folders to a new drive without losing presets, corrections, etc. I have Lightroom 4.

If you just want to move just the image folders containing the actual images, then move them using the Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer. Then in LR's Folders panel on the left side of Library mode, right-click one of the top folders and do Show Parent Folder. Keep doing that until you reach the "root" image folder. It will be greyed out with a "?" on it, indicating that LR doesn't know it's current location. Right-click that folder and select Find Missing Folder; navigate to its location on the new drive.

(Some people recommend moving the images within LR itself. However, there continue to be reports of LR failing to complete large bulk moves correctly. So you're safer using the Finder / Explorer.)

Your LR catalog (containing references to all your images, their develop settings and history) and all your presets will remain in their current location.
