Photoshop Elements: How do I move photos and/or video projects from catalog to another catalog

I installed the trial version of Elements 10 (photoshop & premiere) which converted my old photoshop elements 6 catalog.

I purchased the software (on dvd) and it started working with a new catalog.

How do I combine these items into one catalog? I know I can get files from folders, but I would like the video projects themselves to be included.

There is no method of merging Elements Organizer catalogs automatically.

If you ran the trial and then bought the software, all you needed to do was enter your serial number. The product should have continued to work exactly the same. Even if you uninstalled the trial and installed from your DVD (the exact same software), it should have continued to use the same catalog. The only reason it should not have done so is if you removed the preferences during uninstall, had already uninstalled the previous version, and were using a non-default catalog name. Even then it may have used the correct catalog.

At this point, if you started a lot of work in the new blank catalog, only so much of that is transferable to another catalog. Any sort of file you have imported into the new catalog can also be imported into the old catalog. If you have applied any metadata like keyword tags or captions, you will want to write that information to the file in the new catalog before importing into the old. Most things can be transferred manually, but slideshow projects cannot.
