PHOTOSHOP: Mouse "sticks" to toggle bars: doesn't let them go when I release click on MacOS 10.10 Yosemite

I'm using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac OSX 10.10.2 with an Intuos5 tablet. When I click and drag a toggle on a bar (such as when toggling zoom, opacity, brush size, hue/saturation menus, customizing a brush, using adjustment layers, etc) the mouse "sticks" to the toggle and does not register when I let go of it. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens quite often. It does not happen in any other program that I've tried, except photoshop, so I know it's not my tablet's fault. It also happens when I'm not using my touchpad, not my tablet. It makes it very difficult to set the toggle accurately. I often have to try to set a bar input 2 or 3 times before it properly "releases" my mouse, trying to double tap on blank spaces so it'll let go.
