Lightroom: Mouse released while dragging (Windows 10)

Sometimes the "mouse releases itself" while dragging pictures to somewhere (could be a folder, or a collection, or a stack, or whatever). The mouse is perfectly fine, it's Lightroom that decides "now the drag action ends" arbitrarily while still firmly holding the mouse button down.

This happens most noticably when having made a selection in gridview and then quickly enough start dragging them somewhere, while LR is still calculating stuff and whatnot. When this calculation of stuff is done, the drag usually ends without me releasing the mouse button.

And yes, of course I tested different mice, and my touchpad. It's a LR problem, not a hardware problem.

Tested on Windows 10, Lightroom 6.7, and a HUGE catalog is needed for this to make LR slow enough to make the problem show itself.

The last time I saw this issue updating the Mouse Driver (Logitech M510) cured it and it has not returned.

I have this issue regardless which mouse or touchpad I'm using.

On top of that, I never install supplied drivers. Just basic standard mouse drivers that come with the OS provide working mouse movement and clickable mouse buttons -  it's all I need :)

On top of that yet again, mouse drivers don't cause intermittent unintended releases of a button in a single application.
