Lightroom/Camera Raw: More Camera Profiles with VSCO

Hello!

I think that Lightroom should start making more Camera Profiles. With the new VSCO preset system out, more and more people are wanting to take full advantage of the product which uses these Camera Profiles. I, personally, would like to see the Nikon D3000 put up. After getting VSCO, not being able to use it to its full extent because of a small detail, I'm a bit disappointed. Is this a possibility?

Thanks,

A Thankful Adobe User

What was the small detail that prevented you from using VSCO?

Hello Victoria!

There are different categories of presets (Nikon and Canon) that only work with certain Nikon and Canon cameras, because they have camera profiles. The Nikon D3000 doesn't have one, so I am unable to get the "full film effect" out of the preset.

Which camera profiles are you missing? I just downloaded a sample D3000 file and have the full range of Adobe shipping profiles

The VSCO presets are on my to do list, but I'm clearly still missing something in your problem. What am I missing?

I'm also looking at the list of camera at the bottom of this page http://visualsupply.co/film/02/lightr... which is talking about custom camera profiles. Is that what you're missing? If so, you'd need to talk to VSCO about that, as those are custom profiles that they're creating.
