Photoshop: More options in Recent Files

I was thinking about PS, and the thing that usually kinda annoys me is the Recent files list. I know there are filter options etc, but could be easier if we could just have for example 3 columns with recent files, an X in the edge of each miniature to delete it from preview, possibility to lock some files in one place so this way we could always access them quickly? Becouse sometimes I have to work on 10-20 files in the same time span, and opening any .jpg or file will move it to the recent files. I don't think it's a big change, but could organize working in PS in a nicer manner :d
I guess it's possible in Bridge, but tbh Bridge looks and works like crap, and well, it's an additional software :d

So making it quickly, to make it look more like this or something?

We've been begging for something that lets us manage Recents in Home since it was the old Start Screen. To make this feature useful, a great many of us need to be able to pin and/or delete useless files that cause files we want to scroll away. Why I'd want 20 screenshots, deliberately or accidentally opened to become my Recents is beyond me. But so far, they've been extremely resistant to the idea that a centuries-old feature (Recents in the File menu) needs some serious attention to making it usable and not a hog of our workspace.

It's a real shame that an almost-good idea is a lame feature due to something that may not be so easy to implement, but as they could hook up Cloud Documents in the File menu list, I think they could make this feature something we'd even want to see on launch — currently, I don't even bother, using the Home button if I think an image might still be there that I want to do something with.
