Lightroom: Modified photos to re-publish to Flickr continuously fails in 4.2

The "Modified Photos to Re-Publish" function fails to upload to Flickr. This has been working fine until yesterday. I'm running 4.2...
Now I'm getting this same failure and message (below) for newly published files as well. I've reloaded the Plug-in. The Plug-in Manager for Flickr reads "Installed may not work." The status reads "This plug-in is enabled, but has encountered some problems."

Failure message...

Can't update this collection.

An internal error has occurred: Error Domain=NSXMLPParserErrorDomainCode+4 "Line 1: Document is empty *Userinfo+0x1019dce10 {NSLocalizedDescription=Line 1: Document is empty}

Check if any of your file names contain an apostrophe character - that sometimes causes the publish to fail.

No apostrophes anywhere... had already checked that.
This re-publish function had worked previously as had the straight-up publish function.

Hmm... any further responses would be greatly appreciated. This function is simply not working now. Really really frustrated...
Thanks

Same problem. This started a couple of weeks ago. Filenames do not contain apostrophes. Some captions contain an 'em' dash, but no line breaks. Have reloaded the plugin, de-authorized and reauthorized, and various other fixes I've read in the forums. The only thing that works is removing the image from the set in LR, publishing the change, then adding the picture back to the collection and publishing again. Not really acceptable, as some images may have comments or be 'favorites.'

I've done the same ("The only thing that works is removing the image from the set in LR, publishing the change, then adding the picture back to the collection and publishing again.") to see if it would work and it does, but I don't consider this at all acceptable. I've scoured forums and tried most everything else but no luck...
Very frustrating - !!
